The Living SpiraL: My Why, Your How

For the entire 33 years of my career as a healer, mentor, teacher and life coach, I’ve flown solo when it comes to ‘training.’   

This was not a choice based in pride or fear but rather from having a complete, unassailable inner knowing ~ a knowing consistently validated over decades now ~ that the basis for what I have shared with people all over the world comes directly from and through what I know to be Source. 

What I share can only be validated by other healers, physicians, or people who have had their inner door opened so that their bodies have been inspired to remember.  

If it ain’t broke? Don’t fix it. Right?  

This is the inner knowing of the artist, musician, sculptor, or any creative person, who must learn to trust him or herself. This is where I started out in life as far as first free and soulful self expression. I made art and music, and I deeply loved this way of being. The freedom that I found in creative and artistic expression as a child saved my life!  

Yet there was also something bigger that included artistic expression that showed itself to me while taking a shower ~ and this was that I would never create anything as beautiful or more beautiful than the music and masterpiece that is life itself. 

Much to my surprise, this palpable understanding was a source of relief! The vast reservoir of how my soul is connected to all the energies of life suddenly opened up, and there followed a stunning spiritual awakening from which I emerged as a hands on energy healer whose touch could produce instantaneous physical results or more produce ‘impossible’ physical results on waves of time that yielded to each individual’s capacity to accept ‘their  miracle.’  

There have been three talented mentors in my life, for whom I am deeply grateful. One was Barbara Brennan. Another was Dr. Richard Moss. Both of these conscious co-creators had huge followings and they lived luxurious, privileged lifestyles. The third was a master healer who lived on the island of Cyprus: Daskalos. 

Of these three, only Daskalos’ approach to healing displayed both a deep sense of a direct relationship with the Divine and the destructive forces that are ancestral trauma, culture and misuse of power. He too, was a healer who could change physical tissue in minutes, hours, or days. 

I learned from Daskalos in the silence of his stella. We didn’t speak the same language, so words were not part of our information exchange. It was during this one week stay in his orbit that my hands became the agents of healing a young dancer who had broken her back. She had wanted a session with Daskalos, but he didn’t have time to see her ~ so that I could heal her.  

Daskalos lived in a simple home that was simply furnished, a home in which he made strangers from all over the world welcome. His home and the man himself was attended to by his daughter Paniyota. He painted small oil paintings, simple landscapes, to help make ends meet. He accepted donations in his stella. I made a donation and I bought a painting. Daskalos passed away, but I am so grateful to have pictures of Daskalos and of his beloved island Cyprus in photo albums of my travels and great big world experiences.  

So, it was quite a surprise when my inner direct knowing and multidimensional self exploded into cellular bliss while listening to the CD album ‘Essence’ by composer Peter Kater.   

Peter Kater is a prolific composer in the category of music that is unfortunately associated with easy listening and new age! His genius, versatility, productivity and collaborative talents have garnered two Grammys. He has performed all over the world and has been invited to compose music for theater productions.   

However, I didn’t know any of these details  when I emailed Peter Kater asking him to please consider re-releasing ‘Essence’ which is no longer listed in his active catalog. I explained that finding the odd copy of the CD on Etsy had become more and more difficult. I though Peter Kater would understand because he is also a healer. 

What Peter doesn’t know is that when he composed ‘Essence’ I was living through the sudden death of a man with whom I hoped, and trusted enough, to open my heart to. What’s even more interesting is that I dove into an intense period of creativity to save my heart at that time. I returned to writing poetry and to painting whimsical and wildly colorful paintings, both giving free reign to emotions that were shared with…no one in a body. 

I only rediscovered Peter Kater’s album ‘Essence’ after generating a line of holistic ‘water-memory’ products that I named Essences. These Essences are an extension of my healing touch; and they have been shown to produce radical and seemingly impossible or at least unlikely physical results in hours or days in clients for whom pharmaceuticals have been too slow or altogether unable to help their bodies remember how to heal. It happens.  

Peter Kater generously agreed to my mad-cap request, opening his well-ordered life to the international wild woman, shaman grandma who heard in that one album the potential for an exquisite collaboration of healing intention, energies, creativity and love of our natural world. He seemed amused by my having no idea that he is famous. Good sport, I’d say.  

What Peter Kater doesn’t know is that he composed the ‘Essence’ album and released it during a period of grief and mourning for a lost love. What he also doesn’t know is that after generating 20 or so of my Essences, I realized that another ‘energy’ was involved in materializing the sacred geometry information that is the human bio-field and DNA that ‘composed’ within each Source Solutions Essence. 

I am as prolific producing Essences as Peter Kater has been producing his stunningly beautiful albums – granted that the easy listening new age genre is not for everyone.  Further – and I hope that I am wrong – Peter Kater may not understand the multi-dimensionality of our artistic and healing natures, and this spontaneous collaboration and energetic co-creation. 

In 2021, not long after the indescribable experience of going through Star Fire, I began listening to the album Essence every day. One night, in that in-between-world while my body slept, I had the pleasure of being accompanied by another energy exploring the delightful garden where I live. Together, we touched every plant and tree, and even the stone and bricks of the Victorian era structures that are a protective compound for the introverts and creatives who are my neighbors here.  

The music of the CD Essence along with the Essences in my product line - Source Sparked, Soul Cleanse, Star Fire, and Zero Point - supported my soul during a planned adventure in vulnerability after I wrote energy sound and light code in order to force my strong, durable Zena Warrior Princess to experience being vulnerable.

 I ‘composed’ the musical phrase that is part of having an inflamed appendix so that I could, at least once in this life, be on the receiving end of attentive care and concern over whether I live or die in the healing hands of strangers.  During my recovery (which was remarkably quick), I found that by singing, I could move into the empty spaces within the composition of Essence and thus add healing frequencies that any listener could receive, if desired, while on a healing journey for whatever reason. 

 I’m not altogether sure that Peter Kater understands this invisible collaboration or that he appreciates its healing power, but he agreed and accepted payment. So now I have  copies of this CD to share with clients and customers of my Essence product line. 

So far, Peter Kater hasn’t threatened any legal action for inter-dimensional plagiarism or for generating an unauthorized mix. He assured me that he has no copyright concerns. 

After all, what I added to the audible sounds of Peter Kater's composition is simply ...energy... is layer of love as sound and light code coming straight from Source.

Self-remembering (Peter Kater’s phrase) is a rich, robust and complete healing journey. Although we haven't met in person,  Peter Kater is my fourth spiritual mentor.
